Concept
This project was a campaign to raise awareness about the harmful impact of fast fashion, emphasizing overconsumption and environmental damage. Through a series of three printed posters, we visually challenged the branding of three major fast fashion brands, transforming their well-known imagery into thought-provoking designs that expose the realities behind mass production and excessive consumerism.
Explanation
Each poster highlighted a key issue: waste, exploitation, and environmental degradation, urging consumers to rethink their purchasing habits. The campaign also provided practical information on reducing clothing waste in Vancouver, raising awareness of the industry’s unsustainable practices.
Software
The pieces were designed using Adobe Creative Suite, with Photoshop as the primary tool to manipulate imagery, refine layouts, and create impactful visuals. By blending bold typography, striking photography, and carefully crafted compositions, the campaign aimed to disrupt conventional perceptions of fast fashion and encourage a shift toward conscious consumption and sustainability.
